The ferry Apollon Hellas suffered an engine failure ahead of its departure to the island of Aegina, Greece. The vessel was en route from the port of Piraeus to Aegina with 135 passengers, 35 cars and 13 trucks on board. The ferry did not was distressed during the time of the engine failure and after strong efforts from the crew to repair the damage, the vessel resumed the voyage a few hours later.
