The general cargo ship Rise 1905 suffered a rudder failure in front of Gallipoli while ballasting from Yalova to Nea Karvali on February 6, 2024. The Canakkale VTS Center deployed the tugs Kurtarma 3 and Kurtarma 14 to assist if the distressed vessel, which took the ship in tow.
